Forget social media, try to do something creative in your spare time

Hello there, how have you been? using social media for most of your spare time? I've been guilty of this too for the last few months, which is atypical for me because I used to spend my time with activities that were a lot more hand on and creative.

so first let us talk about why social media might be a slightly bad activity to invest your time in.

Easy, it eats up your time without you even noticing, who doesn't plan on just watching one youtube video or just spend 15 minutes on Instagram and the get going with your life, but then when you look up from your screen the sun has already set and you're still on the couch watching a video about how to train a giraffe. (I actually ended up on that part of youtube once...
another thing might be, especially for younger people, the comparison of your appearance and lifestyle to those of other people, which makes you feel bad about yourself and most importantly, lowes your vibration.

so here's where creative activities come in.

There are several benefits to adding such a thing to your free time activities.
first, you get a sense of accomplishment, you will have something to show for yourself. it will be a physical reminder of your action, and it will make you feel a lot more accomplished. there is a study that says, that people with jobs that produce something physical, such as a woodworker feel more accomplished at the end of the day than someone who works with immaterial things, like in banking.

A great benefit is also the stress relief it gives you. You've probably seen all those commercials for coloring books for adults. and it has a reason, such a task can help relieve stress. you can get into an almost meditative state with a repetitive task, such as coloring, embroidery, collages etc. the big benefit here, is that when you're not stressed you will feel happier, act less impulsively and of course get higher vibrations from it.
doing something creative like this also helps you deal with emotions, like writing a story or do a painting from scratch (not in coloring books) just get a blank sheet of paper or a canvas and start painting, usually your feelings will make their way into your artwork and you may understand what you're feeling better and deal with it!

so here's a really short list of creative activities you can do
